i truly had the best 2 weeks off! normally in the past 2 weeks felt really short.
But this time, its felt refreshing and a long break! where i completely forgot about work!
i think its cos i just did what i wanted and didnt do anything i didnt. A really good decision i made was at the start of annual leave, i got paid, had 2 weeks off.... and decided to buy a steam deck!!
wooo! cos ive been seeing jeff happily playing with his, it felt good to hold one at pax, and don also recently got one.
And i knew if i didnt buy it, id probably just spend that money in bits and pieces on other things.
i love it sooooo much! it arrived in just a few days and i cant say enough about how much i love it! being able to suspend and just play baldurs gate 3 portably is amazing and ive played it a lot more since getting it!
Also don merv and i had a lan day on my last friday of the holidays it was truly a great day! i even messaged Loki and he joined us for risk of rain 2 and dying light.
Then at dinner i was telling merv and don that Marvel Rivals was fun and so we all played it after dinner and kept playing until 1:30am!! ahah we had so much fun! Don said he was surprised how good it was and hes hooked!
and i bought psylockes skin (which is her iconic outfit) and i love playing her! i watched Eskays vid on how to play her and it helped a lot! and ive been getting better and playing well! don and merv messaged me last night and i joined them and it was so fun!! so fun to game with them again :) its like the old overwatch and lol days :)
oh and babysitting miri is a JOY i love it so much. Shes so adorable.... ❤️
